Michigan's Military Heritage Museum
Michigan's Military Heritage Museum is telling the story of Michigan veterans from all conflicts and from both sides. In order to understand a conflict, you need to see what the U.S. service person and its foe look like on the battlefield. Our new location 311 N. Wisner Street, in the city of Jackson, is where the Headquarters/Commissary building was located at Civil War Camp Austin Blair. The Camp was named after Michigan's Civil War Governor Austin Blair from Jackson and was located at the cross roads of the north/south & east/west railroad lines in the city of Jackson.
We would like to start doing events and have lectures during 2022 if possible. We look forward to your support of the Museum. Please consider becoming a Volunteer!
