Michigan's Military Heritage Museum is telling the story of Michigan veterans from all conflicts and from both sides. In order to truly understand a conflict and what soldiers faced, you need to understand what the U.S. service person and its foe look like on the battlefield. Our new location 311 N. Wisner Street, in the city of Jackson, is where the Headquarters/Commissary building was located at Civil War Camp Austin Blair. The Camp was named after Michigan's Civil War Governor Austin Blair from Jackson and was located at the cross roads of the north/south & east/west railroad lines in the city of Jackson.

With your monthly investment as a member of the Quartermaster Corps, your museum can host lectures and events to commemorate the past and learn lessons for the future. Your gift supports programs to instill a sense of patriotism and respect for service for persons of all ages.
