Preserve the Story of Michigan's Veterans

Michigan's Military Heritage Museum tells the story of Michigan veterans from all American conflicts. The museum is dedicated to capture the personal stories of Michigan's men and women who served our nation. You have the opportunity to learn of their achievements, their losses, and their personal experiences.

Our new location 311 N. Wisner Street, in the city of Jackson, is where the Headquarters/Commissary building was located at Civil War Camp Austin Blair. The Camp was named after Michigan's Civil War Governor Austin Blair from Jackson and was located at the cross roads of the north/south & east/west railroad lines in the city of Jackson.
